Rite in the Rain really make some good products, this is another one of them. It’s great for the field, plus will write over grease, fingerprints, and even onto photographs. The ink (blue) will not dry out in the barrel and the manufacturers claim that it will be good for over a mile of writing! It is a cross metal-plastic design with retractable ink barrel/nib. Replacement ink barrels are available for this model- we hope to be able to carry them soon.
